In the northern part of Sumatra Indonesia lives around 3-4000 wild orangutangs. It is the last remaining wild Orangutang population in Sumatra.
Leuser Ecosystem is 2,6 million hectares of tropical rainforrest. Other wild animals like tigers, elephants and rhinos also lives here.
Illegal logging, palm oil production and new roads is some of the threaths to animals and plants.
